Configuring AI providers, models, agents, and feature access

AI Settings

Configure AI-powered features for product descriptions, content generation, and intelligent assistance. The AI Settings page has 4 tabs (note: saving applies to the currently active tab only).

Tab 1 — Providers

Configure connections to AI service providers.

Provider NameDisplay name for the provider
TypeOpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, or Custom
Base URLAPI endpoint URL (pre-filled for standard providers; required for Custom)
API KeyAuthentication API key
Organization IDProvider organization identifier (e.g., OpenAI org ID)
Project IDProvider project identifier
Primary providerToggle — set as the default provider

Tab 2 — Models

Register specific AI models available from your configured providers.

ProviderSelect from configured providers
Modetext, vision, embedding, or image generation
Max context tokensMaximum token window for the model
Default modelToggle — set as the default model

Tab 3 — AI Agents

Create purpose-specific AI agents with custom system prompts and parameters.

Agent NameDisplay name (e.g., "Product Description Writer")
ProviderSelect from configured providers
ModelSelect from configured models
TemperatureControls randomness (0 = deterministic, 1 = creative)
Max OutputMaximum output token length
System PromptInstructions defining the agent's behavior and style
Default agentToggle — set as the default agent

Tab 4 — Access & Defaults

Global AI feature toggles and default assignments.
