Promotions
Promotions are automatic discounts applied based on rules — no coupon code required. They can target catalog prices, cart totals, or specific purchase patterns.

Promotion Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Catalog Price Rule | Adjusts the displayed product price in catalog listings and product pages. Discount is applied before the product is added to cart. |
| Cart Price Rule | Applies a discount to the cart total during checkout. Works similarly to coupons but is automatic. |
| Bundle Deal | Offers a discount when specific products are purchased together (e.g., "Buy shampoo + conditioner, save 15%"). |
| Flash Sale | A time-limited promotion with optional countdown timer. Creates urgency for customers. |
| Tiered Pricing | Offers increasing discounts based on quantity purchased (e.g., 1–9 units: 0% off; 10–49 units: 10% off; 50+: 20% off). |
